I built the DDO Gear Planner website a while ago to help solve your gear tetris problems. You tell it which affixes you care about, and it will suggest gear that has those things.Checkout Strimtom on YouTube he has a lot of reccomended and beginner/returnee friendly builds. I always recommend 2hf paladin, gaining greatswords as favoured weapons at level 3. generally strong with great survivability as well as built in abilities like ghost touch, fear immunity and deathblock.
