Probably many other possible reasons. It's not just Smosh, every YouTube channel has subscriber to view ratios like that. Yeah, but I feel like it’s worse for Smosh. Take Good Mythical Morning, they have 8 million less subscribers but average at least 1 million views per video. GMM is a more formulaic video format.Tbh I don't think it's surprising. Youtube channels as a whole, but especially Smosh, have a habit of having people leave and then it's just never addressed. Take Mari leaving, for example, one minute she's in stuff, then she's not, and there's no public statement to say she's gone, she's just not there anymore.
