This week’s block is the most darling butterfly block designed by Pat Sloan and titled “Butterfly Garden.”. Block 12 Details, Tips, and Pattern Link. This week’s block is the Captivate block designed by Barbara Groves of Me & My Sister Designs. It features two nine-patch units along with eight half-square triangles divided into two units. I was actually able to use some leftover half-square triangles from my Favorite Things sewing last fall.I love the #16 Friendship Quilt block but would like to be able to make a 12 1/2 x 12 1/2 ” unfinished block.
